Job Description
Your Role:
Support the branch manager with professional customer service & necessary skills to achieve branch’s sales objectives through accurate issuance of drugs, customer satisfaction and collaboration with the team in order to achieve overall organizational objective
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the branch.
- Process customer payments accurately.
- Strictly adhere to the NMRA guidelines.
- Actively involve in sales and professional handling of customers to ensure customers receive the accurate drugs as per the prescriptions.
- Advise customers on the proper use of prescribed drugs, as per the medical instructions noted.
- Effectively manage expired and short expiry drugs in the assigned racks, ensuring timely removal and replacements.
- Write the details of shortage drugs from assigned racks in the shortage book.
- Assist the branch manager in achieving the monthly sales targets.
- Foster collaboration with other staff members to ensure a smooth branch operation.
- Perform Additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
Required Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Fluent prescription reading.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the retail pharmacy field.
- Very good knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including drugs, generics, brand names, and their applications.
- Excellent communication skills in Sinhala and Tamil; English is also an added advantage.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- Able to work on a shift basis.
- Candidates may be assigned to any of the branches of the company including Kandy, Gampola, Katugastota and Matale.
